We have over 400 original works of art at the gallery available from most of the local artists we represent. Art rental is an inexpensive way to decorate your home or business and allows you to live with a piece before committing to a final purchase. It is also a fun way of changing your art work on a regular basis and an opportunity to try out new pieces. No long-term rental is required.

We will photograph, measure, and document your spaces, then assist you in choosing works that reflect your personal aesthetic. Virtual PreviewAre you searching for the perfect work of art? Perhaps you’ve found several, but you’re not sure how they will integrate with the other elements in your environment? Allow us to create a Virtual Preview of the art for you. Utilizing digital photographs of your interior, we’ll superimpose to scale your preferred works of art from our gallery or website.
Custom Crating SolutionsWe build custom wooden crates for a safe and reliable shipping experience for both residential and business needs. We offer competitive pricing and a quick turnaround on all custom work.

On Approvals | In-Home TrialWhen possible, we encourage clients to book a viewing in their home or office. Our fine art preparator delivers and places the artwork, and can consult on placement.
Delivery & InstallationArtwork delivery and installation services are available for clients within the Greater Seattle and Bellevue area.
Art RentalsPrivate or corporate clients can rent artwork on a monthly basis, for a small percentage of the total retail value.
Online acquisitionsClients have the option of purchasing artwork securely through our website, 24 hours per day. Associates are available to assist during regular gallery hours.
Crating & Shipping We coordinate national and international artwork shipments for our clients, and offer custom packing and crating. Acquisitions being shipped outside of Washington are exempt from Washington sales tax.

Facility RentalOur facility is available to rent for corporate events, weddings and private parties, with over 7000 square feet of event space. Foster/White Gallery is not an event planner, and we strongly recommend retaining a professional planner for your event.

Tax Deductions for Canadian ArtArt can be tax deductible if you are operating a business (incorporated or unincorporated including freelancers and sole proprietor) and the art has been purchased with the intent of holding it long term to benefit your place of business (eg. exhibited in a place of business where it can be seen by clients and/or employees)

Crating Our team build our own crates to fit the artwork perfectly prior to shipment. With 27+ years in business we have plenty of experience with museum quality packing and crating.
ShippingOur gallery will arrange to ship your art to you world-wide. We provide museum-quality packing and crating, insurance, and shipping.

- Try out a piece for possible purchase to see if it fits in your home.
- Enliven your hotel or restaurant spaces to help attract customers.

The process
There are a few simple steps to rent art:
- Scan Gallery Raymond’s website and choose a painting or paintings from the displays of artists’ work or from the work owned by the gallery.
- Contact the gallery at [email protected] with your selection and to check availability.
- Come to the gallery to sign a contract. The contract will stipulate all rental conditions.
- Arrange for pick-up or delivery.
- Rental is in three-month periods.
- At the end of each period, either the renter or Gallery Raymond can end the rental.
- There is a seven-day grace period after the end of each rental segment. If the renter does not return the pieces within these seven days, another three-month charge will be incurred.
- The cost to rent is 3% of the price of the work, per month, paid in advance.
- Delivery, installation and pick-up are available for $25 for a single piece and $10 for each additional piece.
- Any damage to the painting or the frame is to be paid for by the renter.
- If the renter chooses to purchase the work at any time, all rental fees will be considered payment towards the piece.
