About Matilda Swanson Galleries:
Founded in 2009, Matilda Swanson Galleries specializes in bringing high quality, beautiful original artworks to home and commercial spaces. Matilda Swanson Galleries offer an eclectic selection of fantastic original artwork from over 85 professional Canadian artists. Matilda Swanson has something for everyone, offering visitors hundreds of paintings to choose from in a variety styles ranging from whimsical, to traditional, representational, or impressionatic. Our galleries are fun and colourful, in a casual atmosphere that will surely brighten your day! With two galleries the primary gallery having recently relocated from Clarksburg to Collingwood and in Stratford, Ontario. Opened in 2023, Stratford-based Matilda Gallery & Art Bar expands what we offer visitors and artists alike. In our Art Bar, visitors can enjoy a glass of wine and a snack while exploring the gallery. The Art Bar is a multifunctional space set up for artist-led workshops, performances, private events, date nights, and more! Our highly considered collection of high quality, original paintings highlights colour and vibrant energy with the goal of creating joyful environments through art. Take artwork home on a trial basis before committing to purchasing. We can deliver and assist you in the decision making process. We provide art consultation and worldwide shipping. It is a fun process, and if you can't make up your mind, we also offer an art rental program for homes, businesses, etc. If you are looking to enhance and add life to your space, we've got you covered! |

Sarah Filion is an arts advocate and community builder. She works tirelessly to connect artists with the community she creates by redesigning how art is perceived and thereby purchased. Whether she loans art for a take home trial or hangs works in various local businesses, Sarah has a genuine passion for the artistic practice as well as the experience of the patron. She transforms a gallery tour into a meeting place, uniting ideas with ideals through colour and enthusiasm.
What sets Matilda Swanson Galleries apart from the rest is we are accessible. The gallery is not intimidating.
