When he’s not working as a designer, Randy enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or canoeing. These experiences in Edmonton’s river valley and the Rocky Mountains inspire his creativity. Randy continues down unexpected roads of learning about techniques and materials. He has chosen to work in acrylics because it allows him to create layers of color and texture that provides for spontaneous and flexible changes. Randy’s style is loose, painterly and adapts to each unique subject with a fresh and creative approach.
