I was born in Chatham, ON and raised in Stratford. I moved away in 1967 and came back in 1977 with wife Becky & son Peter. I’ve been painting on & off since I was a kid. One summer, long ago, I painted the exterior of a farmhouse our parents owned & was paid $50.00 for the task. With that $50 I promptly bought a wooden box Grumbacher oil paint set. I used to trundle it to art lessons at the Stratford YWCA with Mrs. Mullan. More lessons were taken, on occasion, with Gerard Brender a Brandis after returning to Stratford. |
